Welfare Scheme Of Modi Government In 2015 - 2016

Central Government of India has launched many welfare scheme for village and urban areas in 2015 - 2016.
Here is list of those schemes.





  • Started Kisan Pariyojna for fast process of harvest insurance claim on 5th October 2015.
  • Started ' My District - My Plan' scheme on 5th October 2015 by HRD Ministry for adult education.
  • Given permission to make 'National War Memorial' at Princes Park on 7th October 2015.
  • Given permission to 'Niranchal Watershed Scheme' on 7th October 2015.
  • Started 'Green India' mission in 4 states Jharkhand, Mizoram, Manipur and Kerala.
  • Announcement of 3 new AIIMS at Nagpur (Maharashtra), Manglagiri (A.P) and Kalyani (W.B.) on 7th October 2015.
  • Announcement of birthplace of Former President Of India Late APJ Abdul Kalam, Rameshwaram as AMRUT City on 15th October 2015.
  • Foundation of Amravati for new capital of Andhra Pradesh by Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi on 22nd October 2015. 
  • Started 10 new scheme for disabled person on 24th November 2015 by Welfare Minister Sri Thawer Chand Galhaut.
  • Started 'PAN Camp' and 'e-Sahyog' project by Central finance minister Sri Arun Jettley on 27th October 2015.
  • Started celebration of 1st Constitution Day on 26th November 2015.
  • Started 23 new service for good governance under 'Digital India' program on 25th December 2015 by Telecommunications Minister Sri Ravishankar Prasad.
  • Started 'GYAN Yojna' by HRD Minister Mrs. Smiriti Irani on 30th October 2015 at IIT Gandhinagar.
  • Started 'Kilkari' service in all districts of Odisha, Jharkhand and U.P. on 25th December 2015 by Central health minister Sri J. P. Nadda for pregnant women and newborn child.
  • Announcement of four new Greenfield airport at Nellore, Kurnul, Moghapuram (A.P.), Gholera (Gujarat) on 28th December 2015.
  • Started National Bio Technology Development Planning program on 30th December 2015 by Science & Technology Minister Dr. Harshvardhan.
  • Inauguration of K. R. Narayan Nation Vision Science and Art Institute at Kottayam (Kerala) by Dy President of India Sri Hamid Ansari on 11th January 2016.
  • Started 'Pradhanmantri Fasal Bima Yojna' on 13th January 2016.
  • Started "Startup India -Standup India" campaign on 16th January 2016 by Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi at New Delhi.
  • Announcement of 20 Smart City on 28th January 2016 .
  • Announcement of 'One Rank One Pension (OROP) scheme for retired army on 3rd February 2016.
  • Started IOC Refinery in Paradeep (Odisha) on 7th February 2016 by Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi.
  • Started 'Project Sunrise' in Imphal ( Manipur ) on 6th February 2016 by Central Health Minister J. P. Nadda for prevent from HIV.
  • Started National Organic Farming and Research Institute (OFRI) in Gangtok (Sikkim) on  10th February 2016.
  • Started "UWIN Smart Card" for labours. (Starting date - 10th February 2016)
  • Announcement of increase area for National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) upto 4041 citieson 20th February 2016.
  • Started Rubarn Mission (Smart Village project) at village Kurubhat, district Rajnandgaon (CG) on 21st February 2016 by Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi.
  • Announcement of attachment of Atal Innovation Mission(AIM) & Self Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU) program with NITI Ayog on 24th February 2016.
  • Announcement of 17 new Indian Reserve Battalion on 27th February 2016.
  • Started 'Mahila e-Haat' portal on 7th March 2016 by minister Mrs. Menaka Gandhi for selling products of women's enterprises.
  • Given permission to Pradhanmantri Ujjwala Yojna on 10th March 2016 by central cabinet. 
  • Announcement of Special voting booth for poor, week and disabled persons. (Starting date - 12th March 2016)
  • Inauguration of Digha - Sonpur and Munger railway bridge on 12th March 2016 at Hajipur, Bihar by Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi.
  • Given permission for 'Pradhanmantri Gramin Aawas Yojna' by central cabinet on 23rd March 2016.
  • Started 'Rotavirus Vaccine Program' on 26th March 2016 by central health minister Sri J. P. Nadda.
